What is the question?

To me, Aristotle sounds exactly like Socrates. He is trying to make us think about the big questions of life and not just relying on the ideas that have already been said. So, is Aristotle trying to make us ask ourselves why we do the things we do? What are our real intentions behind the decisions we make? He takes about the greater good that comes from knowledge and also from some sort of pursuit (part 4). He writes of this "good" throughout this work. Is he asking whether something is good because it is good or is it good because it was called good? This very much reminds me of Socrates.

I commented on Sierra's and Hannah Atkins'!

  1. The question you asked about it being good because it is good or because we called it good is what came to my mind too. It very much reminded me of Socrates also!

  2. His style very much resembles Socrates. It's almost as if he knows the answer, but wants the reader to clarify for their own growth in wisdom.
