I found it very interesting how one's morals and virtue's are expressed in this writing. The fact that our true ability to be good and virtues is found in works and not just thinking on being good is so true. We also need to do good acts with a good heart and spirit. It's pretty amazing to see a parallel to the Christian faith in some ways. We cannot only have faith, just like we cannot only have works. They have to work together and bring the full spectrum of being a virtuous person together. I am speaking in very broad terms here.

This reminds me of the passage in James that specifically talks about faith without works is dead and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that good and bad cannot exist without the other. Where there is evil there will be good, where there is good ther will be evil. The opposites, although polar, are also carrying each other.
