Apple Watches Are Killer

Oedipus makes mistakes that, while very uncommon, directly translate to everyone. He kills his father, and he marries his mother. How does that relate to everyone? The initial sin, murder of his father, can be translated to idolatry to others. As humans, we are often distracted by shiny things of the world. Christ said, "...I came so that they may have life and have it abundantly," (John 10:10 ESV) and we know that God is the maker of all materials, thus making Him the creator of an Apple Watch by using the materials He created. Though God has given us Apple Watches, we can often murder our own view and focus on Christ because we are blinded by sin. Just as Oedipus was in denial, we as believers can often get caught up in doing the same thing by focusing on the motions of Christianity rather than the source. Oedipus serves as an eye opener to not be so narrow minded on what we think we are doing, but to open our minds and view our lives from an outsider's point of view.

P.S. I posted on Ty's and Ethan's posts.
